Location: Based in Hitchin
Salary: £26,000 per yearplus car user allowance
Permanent/Full Time

Our client is a not-for-profit housing association providing quality homes across eight local authority areas in the counties of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

This is an exciting new opportunity to learn the knowledge and skills required to be a Housing Officer in one of the Neighbourhood Teams.

Over a two year training period, you will learn the full range of housing management and customer care skills. You will need to enjoy working with a wide range of people, have good communication and organisational skills and be committed to making a difference to communities. In return our client give you all the support you need to become an effective Neighbourhood Officer.

The successful candidate will manage a small patch of tenancies and develop specialist expertise in the area of income recovery and dealing with rent arrears.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for working in the social housing sector. You will have gained, as a minimum, qualifications to A-level standard (or equivalent) and be a competent IT user. You will need to possess a full UK driving licence, with the use of a car.
