Afternoon Shift – Monday – Friday

We are extremely happy to be recruiting for one of the leading metal manufacturing companies in the UK. Due to continued expansion and account growth they are recruiting for a Trainee Manufacturing Operative to join their award winning team.

We are looking for candidates whom have a background in metal / engineering manufacturing.

Some tasks you will do as a Trainee Manufacturing Operative include –

·Complete pre user sheet for saw

·Collect jobs from bending machine operator to cut

·Check cut list to make sure job not doubled up and write on list

·Unload one tube at a time and load onto machine

·Trim the end of the steel tube before use

·Cut each piece to requested size

·Check piece cut correctly and write PR number and piece on

·Place piece in holding bay for bending machine operator

·Sign all paperwork
