Trainee Mains layer – Kickstarter Scheme
Are you aged 18-24, receiving Universal Credit and looking for a rewarding opportunity in the utilities industry?
DT Civils ltd are currently recruiting a Utilities Labourer / Trainee Mains Layer via the government Kickstarter scheme. This scheme offers a 6-month work placement and training to kickstart the careers of young people like you. This placement will give you the experience you need to launch a new career in utilities & may lead to a permanent role.
The Role
The successful candidates will be required to assist the WATER or GAS operatives, installing mains and services on new build sites. You will be working on sites throughout England and will be required to stay away.
You must be self-motivated, driven and have some knowledge and experience of construction site work.
Requirements
Preferably you will hold some or all of the below qualifications:
National Water Hygiene EUSR Card
CSCS / CPCS Card
A driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be based in or be able to get to the South Wales Valleys.
Salary & Benefits
Hourly pay to National Minimum Wage
