Want to become a Dual Fuel SMART Meter Installer?

We are currently searching for a number of candidates who are interested in joining a training scholarship to become a Duel Fuel SMART Metering Engineer.

Over the next 5 years, 30 million Gas & Electric (Dual Fuel) SMART Meters will be need to be installed across the UK with hundreds of Engineers needed to complete the work.

We are currently working exclusively with the No1 Metering provider in the UK that supplies Dual Fuel Meters across the UK. After successfully securing a significant partnership with one of the UK’s Energy Providers, they are looking for new Engineers to join the company as soon as possible.

The Training

The Scholarship we have on offer is up to 60% funded with remainder needing to be funded by the successful candidates.
The training will take place at the UK’s first dedicated Smart Meter training facility and will be the place you will be learning the tricks of the trade. Completion of our course earns you fully accredited qualifications enabling you to work within the industry right away.

The Qualifications you will gain are:

* LOGIC (QCF) Diploma in Smart Metering – Power
* CITB CMA1 & MET1
* Emergency First Aid at Work Certification
* EUSR register (National database for energy employers and letting them know you have the skills they need)

The Employment Opportunity

Once you are accredited you will be GUARANTEED role with one of the major metering companies.

If successful in your application you will:
*Be put through a partially funded 14 week Scholarship to give you the training to successfully install Dual Fuel SMART Meters.
*1st year salary of £28,800 per annum + Bonus scheme.
*2nd year salary of £28,800per annum + Bonuses
*Initial 23 month contract with option to become permanent
*Obtain a Vehicle, Fuel Card, Tools, PPE and Phone

You MUST have excellent customer service skills, as this is critical to the job. Furthermore, you need a clean criminal record and a drivers licence.

*Attend a screening day which will include: psychometric assessment, colour blind and complete an interview.
*Provide References which will be checked from all your previous employers
