Location: Leicester
Role: Permanent
Salary: Up to £38,400dependent on experience
Hours/shift patterns: 2 weeks of Days, 2 weeks of nights rotating 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off

Background required: Electrically qualified working within an industrial/production/manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of control systems and PLC’s with a passion to learn in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

The Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be working in a purpose built, modern, clean and well organised manufacturing environment, working with the latest technology and equipment in this fast paced hands on environment.

The Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of the highly automated production line in a proactive planned maintenance environment.

Essential skills:
-Electrical qualifications – City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND or equivalents with a passion to learn in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
-Electrical and mechanical skills/knowledge

The ideal Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following skills to strengthen the application:

-Time served apprenticeship
-Educated in a relevant Electrical engineering discipline – City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
-Previous experience working in a industrial/production/manufacturing environment
-Knowledge of PLC’s
-Knowledge of control systems
-17th edition electrically qualified beneficial
-Keen interest in Electrical Engineering and a passion to develop
-Mechanical skills
