Trainee Business Development Executive

My client a well established International company based close to York city centre are currently expanding their fun and vibrant sales team and are looking for a trainee business development executive to join their team.

Your main duties will include; researching potential customer using the Internet, social media and databases. Making calls to customers to research their current suppliers and liaise with other departments to put together quotations. You will be the first point of contact for your clients and grow and develop each customer to maximise profits.

The ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and have a hunger to succeed, be self motivated, persistent and have a ”can do attitude. You will be a team player with an outgoing personality and enjoy building rapport with customers over the telephone. previous sales skills would be beneficial but not essential as full training and development will be provided.

This is a Temporary position for 3 months with a view to a permanent position. Paying 8.20 per hour (16,000) plus commission.
With a realistic OTE of 25,000 in year 2 and 30,000 year 3.
