My client is a national Facilities Management provider with a proven track record of delivering Technical Engineering maintenance to the UK’s public and private sectors.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Trainee Bid Writer to join their highly successful Bid team based in London Docklands.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for creative writing with a recent, relevant Degree. This could be in Journalism, Marketing, English Literature, History or another relevant area. The most important thing is that you have a passion for writing and want to pursue a career within this field.

You will receive full training in order to accomplish the following tasks:
•Managing the production of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents.
•Setting up the Portal system, checking and maintaining the portals daily.
•Completing PQQ’s.
•Key point of contact for PQQ’s.
•Logging all PQQ’s on in house software.
•Maintaining & editing bid library.
•Completing Small value Tenders.
•Assisting the Business Development Department with submissions.
•Assisting with pipeline analysis for the board of directors.
•Coordinating and allocating tenders and PQQ’s.
•Re write and translate the bid content from manages – This requires a good command of English Language.

Knowledge and Experience
•IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Email. Excellent with Word.
•Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
•Good organisational and planning skills.

& Experience

You will possess strong organisational and project management skills, an eye for detail and meticulous proof-reading and communication skills both written and verbal, together with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Salary & Benefits

On offer for the successful Trainee Bid Writer is a highly competitive salary of £28,800 – £33,600- £27k plus benefits.
