Trainee Audio Visual Technician

Our client are looking to recruit a Trainee Audio Visual Technician tobe part of a team installing and maintaining Audio Visual systems in churches throughout England. Our client have been operating since 1985 and like to stay close to meeting the needs of their customers. They are looking for someone who is already technically minded.

This company supply all or part of a complete AV system, from the projector itself to mountings, screen, LED displays, cables, laptops, video camera and software.

You will looking for a trainee role in a technical capacity. If you are willing to learn and already have some experience of using power tools, this is a great role for you. Ideally you will have GCSE Maths, English and Science or equivalent. The nature of this role can be physically demanding.

Reasonable health and fitness as this role includes physical work.

Must be willing to stay away from home on occasions.

Understanding and sympathy of the Christian faith.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Electronics or Engineering qualifications an advantage.

Full driving license an advantage but not essential.

Previous experience within the field or a similar role.

Experience and competence in using Power Tools and Hand Tools

Your own transport is a distinct advantage as there will be some early starts. You will be travelling throughout the UK, but will not need to use your own transport to do this. An interest in technology is a minimum requirement

£14,000-£15500 and a great opportunity to train in this area.
