Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor Essex

Future Build Recruitment are currently searching for a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a medium sized, well established main contractor based in Essex. The company undertake a range of refurbishment projects with values up to £5m in a variety of sectors, but predominantly in public and residential sectors.

They have recently won a number of projects in North London and Essex and are offering the chance for an ambitious candidate to join their busy commercial team, offering responsibility form the start as well as the chance to work alongside and learn from experienced Quantity Surveyors.

As a trainee / assistant surveyor you will help with the financial management of projects whilst joining the companies training programme with a view to continuing studies and laying the foundations for a long and successful career with the company. Candidates already on day release will be considered.

Suitable candidates will be:
• Have between 1 and 3 years practical surveying experience
• Hold or currently studying for a formal academic construction qualification for example, HNC, degree
• Ambitious to train as a QS with a well-respected contractor
