Test Technician

A Test Technician is required for a successful manufacturing company based in Crawley. This is a good opportunity for an experienced Test Technician who has good electronics experience and who enjoys fault finding.

The Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Test Technician will do the following:

Setting up the UV systems for simulated test
Analysis and fault finding skills, interpretation of results
Measuring & recording information using a variety of instruments
Calibrate UV curing systems within the specifications and tolerances

The Person:

The suitable Test Technician will ideally have the following:

City & Guilds or HND in Electronics
17th Edition is an advantage
Knowledge of PCB’s and PLC’s is ESSENTIAL
Ability to interpret panel built electrical components, and understand schematics

The Package:

The successful Test Technician will receive the following:

Salary up to £30,600
O/T at 1.5 basic hourly rate (over 39.5 basic hrs.’ per week) -it is essential that you are prepared to work overtime when required
Hours of work: Monday 12:45 – 17:15, Tuesday to Friday 08:00 – 17:15
