Location: Mobile role covering; Northampton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, St Albans, etc.

Salary: Up to £36,000per annum + Van & Fuel Card + Lots of overtime available – Potential earnings of £40k+ is very realistic.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

My client is looking for an experienced and qualified Electrical Engineer to work on their sites across the Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire / Buckinghamshire area. You will be working on both industrial, commercial and retail buildings.

Day to day duties will include carrying out electrical installation, remedial work and test & inspections across your territory. Work will be carried out at various times depending on the needs of the site. Flexibility with shifts will be needed.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications required;

* City & Guilds 2382 – 17th Edition
* City & Guilds 2391/2394 – Inspection and Testing – Parts 1 and 2.
* City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (Time served apprenticeship)
* Full Driving License

Desirable qualifications:

* IPAF
* PASMA

Candidates must;

* Ideally have experience of working within an electrical testing role for at least 2 years.
* Able to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings
* Be client focused and deliver quality service

Desirable experience;

* Installation and testing of emergency lighting
* Installation and of data and network systems

You may have experience of the following: Electrical Engineer, Test Engineer, 2391 Inspect and Test, Electrician, HVAC Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Multi skilled engineer, maintenance engineer, Commercial maintenance engineer, facilities maintenance, FM, building services maintenance.
