Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year
Due to an internal promotion Sauce People are recruiting an Territory Manager for a global tyre manufacturer to develop business within the commercial vehicle market across the Yorkshire region.
Whilst full training will be given we’ll be looking for technical aptitude as well as strong commercial experience. An interest in automotive or trasport would be an advantage. The Territory Manager will visit SME transport and logistics businesses, buiding relationships and maximising commercial opportunities in a competitive market. You will be selling features and benefits that relate to safety, productivity and economy to the customers, and driving sales through distributors and wholesalers.
We are looking for someone degree-educated, with some B2B sales experience and someone who is keen to progress their career. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills, as well as an ability to seek out new opportunities.
The role will be based from home and cover Yorkshire, with Sheffield being a good home base. You will be responsible for diary and territory planning and will report to a Regional Sales Manager.
Whilst we will consider most B2B sales backgrounds, preference will be given to those with experience of selling into transport and logistics industries.
Most of the recruitment process will take place online over Teams.
