Temporary Sub-Contract Controller
Job purpose
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain you will work closely with the supply chain team to ensure that the Company’s supply chain requirements are delivered on time. It will be a ‘hands on’ position liaising with suppliers and ensuring that our requirements clearly communicated and are met.
Key responsibilities
Identifying/reporting potential component shortages, with the extensive use of ERP systems, solving and eliminate any supply problem before effecting the production schedule.
Attending production meetings and informing supply chain team members of any potential problems.
Visit companies to review the progress of units/parts against the known requirements to ensure that schedules are achieved.
Monitor the efficiency of the Supply Chain and identify overloads and bottlenecks in production at our subcontractors.
Reschedule purchase order lines to meet production requirements.
Visit sub-contractor premises to progress workloads and set priorities
Action general purchase requisitions as required
Undertake duties as assigned by the Head of Supply Chain

Personal attributes
Proven experience in a similar role
Good knowledge of supply chain processes.
Competent user of ERP system
Effective communicator
You should be able to write clear and concise communications.
