Temporary Payroll Officer

Salary: £19.2 – £24 per hour

An exceptional Payroll Officer is required to support this East London Secondary School, to undertake a payroll project on a short-term temporary basis.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be an expert user of Sage payroll and will advise and support the finance team in making adjustments on Sage Line 50, advise on the process to raise information required for starters and leavers such as P45’s and P60’s and support in ensuring information is correct, to enable the finance team to run the staff monthly payroll efficiently.

This is a short-term project of 2-4 weeks in duration. You will be an exceptional user of Sage Line 50 or 200 and have an excellent understanding of the full payroll cycle.

Hours of work are 8.30am – 4.30pm, these are negotiable.

Immediate start for suitable candidates. The successful candidate will hold or be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
