Interim Payroll Manager

Accountancy Action are currently recruiting for an Interim Payroll Manager to work for a leading business-to-consumer organisation based within the Birmingham area. They are offering a very competitive hourly rate (£26.4ph) depending on experience. You will be required to work for a period of up to three months with the potential to be made permanent.

Key responsibilities:

• You will be the main point of contact for HMRC and ensure all tax compliance and legal/statutory obligations are consistently being met.
• Managing a team of four within the payroll team.
• Processing employees’ wages on time.
• Reviewing payments, expenses, third party payments before processing to ensure that they are accurate.
• Maintaining payroll systems and ensuring data is up to date and accurate.
• Ensuring all pay queries are dealt with effectively and on time.
• Ensuring all payroll procedures are in line with company policy.
• Working closely with the HR team and key stakeholders to consistently improve workforce.
