Working as a Telecommunications Design Engineer with a national firm that works with some of the largest network operators in the UK you will be designing mobile base station sites and carrying out full suitability surveys.

To be successful in this role you must –

Have a working knowledge of designing mobile base station sites,

Be able to specify all equipment on a base station such as Radio kit, Antenna, Power Supply etc,
Have knowledge of structural aspects of a building and be able to carry out a full measured survey or Greenfields, Streetworks or Rooftop sites,
Be able to use AutoCad to make drawing changes
Be able to create survey notes and develop a design for the CAD team
Be able to understand design specifications from clients and develop design solutions for the upgrade of telecoms base stations.

This is a growing company and there are positions available at the Senior and Graduate / Trainee level. For the Grad level roles you must have some experience of the above and AutoCad.
