Senior Electronics Design Engineer

I have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a design and manufacturing company within the Automotive sector.

Your role as Senior Electronics design Engineer involves designing and implementing small embedded micro controller bases systems to be taking into volume manufacture.

As Senior Electronics Design Engineer some of your duties will include (but not limited to):

*Product feasibility.
*Product specification.
*Schematic capture.
*PCB layout.
*Embedded software design.
*Design for test.
*Design for manufacture.

We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer who ideally has the following skills:

*Degree in Electronics or relevant subject.
*Experience in a commercial product development role.
*Embedded microprocessor/micro controller hardware system design.
*Schematic and PCB layout CAD tools usage; ideally Alium Designer.
*Usage of firmware development tools IDE (Rowley, eclipse MPLAB etc)
*Experience with multi-layer, dense PCB design incorporating dine pitch devices and small discrete components down to 0402 size.
*Experience with Embedded firmware development C.
*Design for manufacture, test and cost.
*Design for conformance (CE & FCC) EMC and safety.
*Analogue design.
*Serial communication system design.
*Wiring harness design.
