STRUCTURAL STEEL ENGINEERS ESTIMATORS –

(Romford, Basildon, & Canvey, Essex areas)

& DESIGN – CAD ENGINEERS

Working on the Survey of steel work projects, taking and checking site measurements. Then recording all measurements. Then completing Estimating of the steel work required, plus also some work on the design of structural steel work such as building frames, plat forms, foot bridges, stair cases etc.

Competing estimates
Using Tekla Design System to compile drawings.
Completing drawing and materials lists.
Checking material specs and ensuring they are correct.
Contract 3 – 6 months plus pos perm role.

Pay Range £20.4 – £26.4 per hr Ltd or

£34,000 – £38,000 plus p.a
depending on experience, skills, quals etc 0800 – 1700 Mon – Fri

STRUCTURAL – STEEL DESIGN – CAD ENGINEERS

Working on the design of structural steel work such as building frames, plat forms, foot bridges, stair cases etc.
Using Tekla Design System to compile drawings.
Completing drawing and materials lists.
Checking material specs and ensuring they are correct.
Contract 3 – 6 months plus pos perm role.

Pay Range £20.4 – £26.4 per hr Ltd or

£28000 – £37,000 p,a depending on experience, skills, quals etc
0800 – 1700 Mon – Fri

STRUCTURAL – STEEL DESIGN – CAD ENGINEERS (Essex & London areas)

Working on the design of structural steel work such as building frames, plat forms, foot bridges, stair cases etc.
Using Tekla Design System to compile drawings.
Completing drawing and materials lists.
Checking material specs and ensuring they are correct.
Contract 3 – 6 months plus pos perm role.

Pay Range £16 – £20 per hr Ltd or

£27000 – £35,000 p,a depending on experience, skills, quals etc
0800 – 1700 Mon – Fri

DESIGN – CAD ENGINEERS

We are recruiting a Design/CAD Engineer production of 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, component drawings & BOM’s (bills of material) to support timely procurement of components and delivery of products. Duties will include: * Generation of 3D CAD assemblies on Solid Works, to verify the practicality of designs * Provide technical solutions to the design process * Produce bills of material, detailing all components required to complete an order, ensuring all material and quality aspects conform to the customer specification * Provide contractual and manufacturing drawings, in accordance with company standards and client project specifications * Mechanical & Fabrication Design of Machinery – Plant etc * To keep up to date with latest methodology for CAD system and engineering processes to ensure the software is used to its fullest extent effectively.

Successful candidates will: * Have a mechanical engineering background have a demonstrable track-record of taking ownership of complex tasks and projects
HNC HND Engineering or similar * Be highly skilled in the use of 3D CAD Software. Solid Works experience or similar, producing models and drawings * Mechanical & Fabrication Design skills of Machinery – Plant etc ideally Possess good communication skills, both verbally and in writing * Drive, persistence and determination * Initiative and pro-activity * Contribution through the provision of creative solutions * Conscientiousness – methodical, able to prioritise, attention to detail, planned and organised

Hours of Work – 0800 – 1700 Mon – Fri Salary depending on skills/quals etc
£27000 – 35,000 plus negotiable OR ON CONTRACT £16 – £20 + HR
