Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Location: Bracknell, UK (Ability to work from home full time)

Contract: 12-month contract

SRG are working with a global Agrochemical company to help them find a Technical Support Specialist to join their busy team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide scientific support to the Residue Science group. You will Work alongside and support Technical Experts in the import and population of the global residue database with study information from the European programme of GLP residue studies.

Responsibilities:

• to work with our external contract research organisations (CRO’s) to ensure the database is accurately populated in a timely fashion after completion of the final reports
• Provide support to Technical Experts in outsourcing activities – ordering of test and reference item for distribution to our CRO network to enable initiation of our study programmes.

• work alongside and support Technical Experts in the preparation of detailed written technical OECD summaries of study reports and data and evaluation of data packages to produce responses to techno-regulatory questions

• Support Technical experts with project scoping activities including data mining and report retrieval in order to compile summary information for submissions and rebuttals

Requirements:

• Numerate and literate, ability to learn quickly

• Must hold a BSc, can be scientific or ecology, geography ect.
• Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task especially in periods of high workload
• Computer literacy is essential, good knowledge of excel
