THE BUSINESS
With locations around the country, a leading multi-disciplinary main contractor undertaking various projects within the UK Water Industry, associated industries and the renewable sector is looking to appoint a full time Technical Sales Manager.
The candidate will have responsibility for the bid management, commercial reporting, sub-contract procurement, risk management, technical proposals and be client facing.
THE ROLE
As Technical Sales Manager you will be the client facing lead representing the company and responsible for nationwide projects, technically assessing projects and preparing quotations.
You will be expected to liaise with project support functions such as finance, supply chain, risk departments and ensure an all-round commercial service is maintained.
Responsible for management of all periodic reporting functions, cost, value, contract management and liaising with the end client.
Ensuring that adequate records are maintained in respect of project issues and commercial management processes across all divisions, the majority of your role will be biased toward planned maintenance within the utilities sector.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience within the water industry: WTW & WWTW
Technical knowledge within the water industry
Experience working within a client facing position
