JS Recruitment are thrilled to be working with in partnership with a national engineering business who have a strong reputation for quality, service, and delivery. They have ambitious growth plans and now require a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for driving sales.

We are keen to speak with candidates who demonstrate proven technical knowledge and relationship management experience along with a Mechanical & Electrical background.

This is a newly created position within the business and gives the successful candidate a chance to really make it their own with excellent career prospects!

REPSONSBILITIES:

• Visit current customers and new customer sites.
• Conduct market research to improves services with existing clients.
• Write reports and liaise with the servicing team regarding issues and effective solutions.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Provide clients with sales advice and support.
• Listen to customers’ needs and advising them on the best possible solutions.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• A solid technical background.
• At 3 years plus experience working in a similar role.
• Strong Mechanical and Electrical background.
• Teamworking ability.
• The ability to build relationships with customers.
• Negotiation skills.
• Time management/ Meeting strict deadlines.
