Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
Our client is one of the leading Sub Contract engineering job shops, using the latest, state of the art technology to provide services to a wide range of industries from pharmaceutical to aerospace, rail and automotive.
They are currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales Estimator to join their busy team within the Head Office site in Stafford.
The Sales Estimator will be responsible for:
• Delivering profitable business from existing and new customers throughout the UK.
• Maintaining day-to-day customer contact.
• Business Development – generating business from existing, lapsed and new clients
• Providing quotations for customer enquiries, using our industry leading software.
• Convert enquiries in to orders through sales techniques and input on to the company software system.
• Supporting the sales manager to grow in existing markets as well as helping deliver innovative strategies to develop new areas.
The successful applicant will:
• Be good at working under pressure.
• Have experience of working in a B2B sales environment.
• Have some technical or engineering knowledge
• Be energetic and outgoing
• Ideally be able to understand engineering drawings
• Be a good communicator.
• Have strong numeracy skills.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Deliver to deadlines and specifications.
• Have excellent networking and communication skills.
• Need to be honest, genuine, personable and articulate and have extremely high levels of self-motivation and confidence.
