Full time Trainee Residential Sprinkler Estimator/Designer.

Fire Fighter 24/7 LLP are a family run business who specialise in domestic and residential sprinkler systems and dry riser installations. We are looking for a full time Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team, initially supporting our current designers, whilst training is given.

Responsibilities:

You will give support to our current designers whilst training is given over a period.

Working in a valued role within the design department your daily duties will include:

• Completing initial Sprinkler estimations
• Completing bespoke AutoCAD drawings of fire sprinkler systems, to applicable recognised standards
• You will be inputting and completing, full hydraulic calculations & reports using a specialist software
• Co-ordination with other trades and services, including liaising with our clients and design team members
• Uploading the relevant information to our Construction Management Software
• Assisting our engineers with any design queries 
• Other ad hoc duties as required, including excel spreadsheets, etc.

Attributes and Skills:

• Must be able to plan and organise your own workload.
• Must have Strong attention to detail and you must be able to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy of work.
• Familiar with 2D AutoCAD (preferred but not essential)
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows & Office
• Full driving licence is essential as the successful candidate will be required to travel (on occasion) in accordance with their duties.
• Great verbal and written communication.
• Needs to work well within a team

• Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
• Paid monthly

• Salary: £26,000per year
