Technical Customer Service Team Leader – Permanent – Telford

ITR Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected manufacturing company in Telford for a new, permanent Technical Customer Service Team Leader. To be considered for this excellent role though, you MUST have the technical experience as well as the Customer Service / Team Leader exposure too.

You’ll be supporting the Technical Manager in the day to day running of a small technical team in Telford, managing resources in order to improve team performance. You’ll help support the team from a technical point of view, providing support to internal departments, suppliers and customers.

The duties for this role will include:

• Day to day supervision of the Technical Customer Service Team
• Set and manage appropriate KPI’s
• Reporting and call monitoring
• Discuss and agree actions with individuals in order to improve performance
• Identify, set up and carry out training and improvement plans
• Provide on the phone and email support over technical and escalated enquiries and complaints
• Identify trends and reoccurring issues

To be considered, you MUST have a proven technical background with an Electronic / heating bias.

You’ll also have excellent communication skills, be well organised, IT literate and a proven ability to supervise / run / manage a team.

Maintaining customer satisfaction is key within this role, but to be considered you MUST have the required technical nous and understanding too.

The site is accessible on public transport if you live in Telford, but would also be commutable to from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Market Drayton, Stafford, Stone, Stoke, Walsall, Telford, Kidderminster etc.
