Technical Advisor – Construction & Fire

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Technical Advisor – Fire Protection

Location: London – Hybrid Working 

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Company Vehicle + Training & Development

This is a new opening with a global client to assist with their technical & sales capability. The primary objective is to support customers, contractors, and the internal sales team with technical and installation support.

Responsibilities of the Technical advisor:

• Provide advice on fit-for-purpose passive fire protection products and the practical aspects of their use to both internal and external stakeholders. Remote and on-site where required.
• Effectively process and manage customers’ enquiries, from technical queries to design drawings and general product advice.
• Assist in the construction of UKAS-accredited testing.
• Provide product installation guidance.
• Work closely and liaise with the necessary departments to fulfil all customers’ technical needs.
• Conduct training sessions for installing contractors and CPDs for designers and architects.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work on their own 
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines effectively
• Excellent Customer services skills

Required knowledge for the Technical advisor

• Knowledge and understanding of construction drawings. 
• Fire protection, Fire Stopping or Construction installations 
• Computer literate (Excel)
• Experience in Passive Fire would be desirable
