A growing niche business specialising in the growing, packaging and sales of specialist fruit and vegetable. Partnered with one of the largest fresh produce suppliers in the UK this is a great time to join this expanding site.
The purpose of the team leader will be to manage a team of operatives to efficiently pack fresh produce in line with customer specifications.
You will also be required to act as a Relief Area Controller as and when required where you will direct and control a production area to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled quickly and cost effectively.
You will need the ability to work in a fast moving environment whilst ensuring that quality standards meet the customer specifications at all times.
Supervisory experience is essential and working to KPI’s or targets would be an advantage. You must be flexible to work on the line when required in order to meet the needs of the business.
43 hours per week, to include weekend working
