The Role
· Handle and drive communication with various stakeholders e.g., Network, storage, and development teams.
· Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations for the system.
· Responsible for software installation and configurations and applying patches.
· Install software and configurations and apply patches.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge:
Experience in industry verticals like travel and finance.
Experience in informatica administration including trouble shooting of the integration service and environment availability.
Setup Integration Service as GRID / HA environment experience.
Hands-on experience on Informatica PowerCenter upgrade from 10.x to 10.5 will be added advantage.
Strong logical and analytical reasoning skills, excellent communication with good listening, presentation, and intrapersonal skills.
Strong team building and mentoring skills and excellent team leadership capability and should have worked in onsite-offshore model.
Familiarity with Business Discovery, Data Discovery & Analysis, Data Modelling, ETL Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Troubleshooting in the field of Data warehousing.
Strong Data warehousing experience specializing in RDBMS, ETL Concepts, Strategy, Design & Architecting, Informatica Administration and Development.
Expert in the ETL Tool Informatica which includes components like PowerCenter, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Repository Manager, Repository Server Administration Console.
Extensive experience in working with various PowerCenter Transformations using Designer Tool. Must have handled various Data Sources like DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel including MF COBOL EBCDIC Files, Flat Files and XML Files.
Experience with ORACLE/Informatica performance tuning techniques.
Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL. Expert in creation of stored procedures and custom SQL to define ETL processes.
Knowledge of Informatica 10.x, Oracle, DB2, Shell and Perl scripting.
