The Role
As a Senior ServiceNow Architect, you will lead the design of FSOโs target ServiceNow design and deployment architecture.
Formulate the ITSM/ITOM vision and outcomes aligned to FSOโs strategic and operational aspirations, short, medium, and long-term.
Assess the quality and scope of our CMDB and configuration data, setting out approach to designing target CMDB along with processes and approach to maintenance.
Work with partner SMEs to design the target CMDB and CSDM.
Develop a target ITSM/ITOM architecture to include hosting approach, integration patterns, interdependencies with network, security and target operating model. This should include how this evolves over time as we implement foundations and then extend.
Best practice approach to ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM) adoption, recognizing our starting point, but taking the opportunity to avoid technical debt and enabling future platform adoption (e.g., HR Case Management, Health & Safety incident management). Use of deployment accelerators to adopt best-practice patterns and drive simplification.
Define our target service operating model, along with path for evolution as we mature in ITSM adoption, based on our current and projected delivery plans. This should also demonstrate how this will align to our TBM (Tech Business Model) model.
Best practice approach to ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM) adoption, recognizing our starting point, but taking the opportunity to avoid technical debt and enabling future platform adoption (e.g., HR Case Management, Health & Safety incident management). Use of deployment accelerators to adopt best-practice patterns and drive simplification.
Develop a ServiceNow deployment roadmap to focus on early delivery of foundational capabilities, enabling applications transition to our target hosting arrangements. This should then be extended to support different uses cases for future adoption.
Assist with driving standardization and best practice platform management.
Assist with platform and application configurations in support of automating workflows and business processes to meet stakeholder requirements.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of platform level governance.
Lead the development and implementation of standards/best practices, policies, and procedures to support the ongoing growth and health of the Now Platform.
Support the design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption.
Provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices.
Devise a clear plan for detailed design, foundational and future releases aligned to FSO separation milestones.
