The Role

TCS’ Cloud Consulting – Cloud Strategy and Transformation is a cross cloud business unit that works with enterprise CxO level executives and offers multi cloud consulting and advisory services across all leading cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure, and others).

Our Cloud Strategy and Transformation consulting unit executes on three transformational focus areas:

Cloud Strategy – Defining the cloud transformation strategy including the business case and the business value of cloud for CxO level executives.
Cloud Transformation – Lead the actual cloud transformation from strategy to execution across migration, modernization to new cloud native build.
Digital Transformation – Work with clients to create new revenue generating digital and data solutions. Generate operational efficiencies in existing business processes with cloud as the transformational driver.
These three focus areas include numerous offerings, solution assets, and niche expertise. The list which keeps growing, staying ahead of the curve as the Cloud industry evolves and matures.
Responsibilities:

Work with clients in broad roles spanning cloud advisory, discovery, cloud platform selection, business case development, migration and modernization services, cloud native build, cloud operating models and Cloud COEs
Leading our Cloud teams and work with our clients to define their vision and strategy for enterprise cloud adoption
Handle and drive conversations with enterprise CxO level executives and provide advisory services and actionable recommendations on implementation of cloud services / solutions
Define Cloud Platform Architecture, Cloud Technical and integration Architecture and provide design guidelines and recommendations to the IT solutions & development team
Define cloud migration and modernization strategy, migration patterns, modernization of legacy applications with serverless technologies, containers and Kubernetes, modernization of data and databases, integration platforms and cloud native tools.
Define cloud native architecture and design guidelines for the enterprises to develop new cloud applications
Own and lead cloud delivery programs – in formulating / defining and driving the end-to-end enterprise cloud transformation life cycle stages in cloud adoption – Analyze, Define, Build, Migrate, Develop, Operate and Manage stages
Define / refine cloud operating models including design and setup of cloud CoE’s
Create a detailed cost benefit analysis (CBA) model and business case for the cloud transformation programs that are recommended to enterprises
Analyze Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for cloud solutions / environments and recommend cloud cost optimization / management measures to enterprises using FinOps best practices or similar
