The Role
As a Fashion RetailConsultant, you will be part of the Retail Business Consulting team within TCS’ Retail Business Consulting Services Unit. You will report to the Retail Business Consulting Partner and support new and existing retail clients in their Retail Fashion transformation needs. Your core responsibilities will include:
Develop strong relationships with clients, partners, staff, and associates, and to be great at leveraging the company’s experience, expertise, and eco-system to deliver solutions for clients.
Design and deliver major transformation programmes that can involve designing new services and operating models, building business cases and the subsequent change programs.
Undertake whole system/service evaluations or delivering across complex, multi-partner implementations.
Support the development of new opportunities with new and existing clients and markets.
Develop new propositions that enable clients to meet future challenges which further develop the companies’ vision to become a strategic partner/ advisor to the client
Use existing networks and connections to contribute to growth of the future revenue and sales pipeline.
Deliver high value strategic advisory programs to clients.
Conduct service reviews, system redesign and process improvement projects as required to deliver client objectives.
Support clients in defining, developing, and delivering their strategy through all stages of implementation, including developing business cases and roadmaps for transformation.
Support project delivery, budget, profitability, and scope; recognizing and managing risks and issues.
Encourage others to demonstrate innovative solutions and alternative ideas to a variety of problems.
The retail fashion specific responsibilities include:
Omnichannel: Develop a robust vision and business case to drive omnichannel experiences and operating models that lead to profitable growth.
Customer experience transformation: Develop a deep understanding of what our clients’ customers care about most, then designing memorable experiences to satisfy those needs.
Next generation supply chain and sourcing: Support clients transform their clothing supply chains and sourcing strategy to provide sustainable, resilient competitive advantage.
Merchandising: Support clients develop their merchandising strategy and execution approach across planning, product selection and display to drive brand equity whilst optimising margin.
Proposition development: Develop optimisation strategies for clients across all elements of their fashion proposition.
