Job Title – Support worker
Service users – Learning disability and complex needs
Location: Stowmarket
Hours: Part time

The role of a Support Worker involves supporting each person to live the life they want within their community in which they live, to build positive relationships and to reach their potential.

We provide support to adults with learning and/or physcial disabilities, this can be from personal care to going out into the community.

You will need to be able to work flexibly to cover weekends, bank holidays, sleep ins or waking nights.

Across the services we need to ensure the People We Support live in a safe enviroment and to live active and fulfilling lives.

What you will be doing,
� One on one support & guidance
� Maintaining company policy and compliance
� Personal care duties
� Promoting independence and choice
� Provide support catered to their needs and care plan

Good communication, having a flexible approach, being able to listen, come up new ideas and to support people to plan and to achieve their goals are all essential parts of the role.

You will be willing to learn and try new things, through both training and team work.

6 month experience dealing with (Elderly Care, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities,Domiciliary care) would be preferable.
