Support Worker
The Leader Group are looking for kind and passionate Support Workers to work with adults who have a learning disability, sensory impairment on complex health needs.
The role involves supporting clients in a residential setting, to live as independently as possible. You will work with clients according following a personalised support plan, to enable clients to meet their personal goals.
This is a full time, permanent role with great career prospects and involves working as part of a close and supportive team. We are happy to review candidates with or without experience as we believe that personality matters most. Previous experience is not essential as there is a comprehensive training and development plan in place to support you.
Candidates are expected to be –
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Have a range of communication skills
- Confident in assisting with personal care, moving + handling
- Compassion and integrity to treat people with dignity and respect
- Adaptable to different skills and abilities in needs and communication
The role is on a rota basis and will include working Early, Late and Long Day shifts. Rotas include some weekend working.
