Structural Technician

Salary: £33,600 – £42,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Structural Technician to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Newark. You will be joining an established team that is large enough to provide great support and training, but still small enough for you to make a real difference if you are driven enough.

Your main role will be to prepare Structural Engineering drawings in detail using AutoCAD and Revit, other duties may include surveys and designs depending on your ability to do so. You will be the primary resource for a group of Engineers within the office and will be expected to be flexible and adaptive in the type of work undertaken.

You should be qualified with a HNC in Civil / Structural Engineering and have experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit to produce detailing of a wide range of buildings structures such as education, commercial, industrial, residential, retail and healthcare. You should be able to work as part of a team of structural engineers and technicians with minimal supervision and be able to work under pressure and be committed to achieving project deadlines.
