Overview
My client is a rapidly expanding civil & structural engineering consultancy, currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their exciting organisation. Candidates will have at least 5 years post graduate experience in building structures and will ideally have some experience in structural analysis.
Key Qualifications/Experience
Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering field
Have at least 5 years experience in performing structural design
Experience in design using the main structural materials including Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber
Effective written and verbal communication skills
A knowledge of structural analysis using Robot
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of structural calculations and specifications
Liaising with internal contacts to determine project requirements
Ensuring projects are completed to timescales
Efficient design using steel, masonry, timber and concrete
This position is currently vacant due to an increase in workload and our client can accommodate an immediate start for the right candidate. Salary is dependent on experience.
