Strategy Manager (12 Month FTC)

About the role:
Based out of our flagship head office in Coventry, you’ll be responsible for developing our short; mid and longer term waste water infrastructure strategies – covering everything from our business plan, Investment needs, accounting for legislative changes and planning improvements to infrastructure serviceability

You’ll deal with key internal and external stakeholders and through your influence you’ll promote the strategies to make sure they are implemented

You will be responsible for assisting in the development of the short, medium and long term planning needs including the annual business planning, Asset Management Plan (AMP) / Price Review (PR) and 25 year plans

You will develop inputs into the AMP capital investment programme and be responsible for strategic recommendations and programmes to key milestones dates

Responsible for promotion of Schemes into the Capital Investment Process as related to maintaining or improving infrastructure serviceability

To lead and manage the predictive modelling activities for the infrastructure planning & cleansing programme including leadership and management of direct reports

About you:
Understanding and ability to interpret short, medium and longer term demand trends and customer needs for key investment strategies

Understanding of capital investment process and strong project management skills

Experience and understanding of end-to-end WWS infrastructure processes and customer requirements

Strong numerate and analytical skills and the ability to understand financial and performance data

Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g. business/economics, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar).
