How can you change it up?
We are looking for a Billing Specialist who will have experience of handling complex billing in a fast-paced environment and being able to liaise with customer and stakeholders across the business. We are currently at a turning point, where we need to update and automate our billing process to meet the increasing needs of the business and we are looking for someone who can lead this transformation. You will be working closely with our Systems Team to assist with the development of automated billing, helping them to understand the requirements of our customers and checking the accuracy of their outputs.
This role encompasses two key areas, firstly, overseeing the day to day running of our billing process including ensuring that our customers receive accurate and timely bills, and that new customers are onboarded efficiently. Secondly, overhauling the processes around billing and ensuring that we have automated systems in place that work for the long term as the business continues to expand. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Working with our Systems Team to develop our SalesForce software to ensure it is configured to best suit our needs and ensure customer and billing information is entered accurately and timely
* Being responsible for preparing sales invoices until such time as the billing process is fully automated and sending them to CityFibre’s customers
* Working with our Commercial and Legal Teams to bill large one-off contracts at the right time and in line with contract terms
* Being a part of the customer onboarding process including meeting with customers to manage their expectations and to discuss their requirements, to ensure billing processes remain robust and sustainable
* Liaising with customers as to how invoices are to be raised and ensuring that invoices can be matched to customer POs, raking responsibility of customer queries and any issues that arise regarding billing
* Managing intercompany billing and raising bills between our subsidiaries
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for an experienced individual coming from a billing background, ideally in a telecommunications or utilities background. It is also desirable that you have experience with automating manual processes. It is essential that you have excellent knowledge of Excel, including things such as pivot table and Vlookup.
It is desirable that you have experience in the following:
* Salesforce
* Sending complex multi-line invoices to a range of customers
* Process Improvement
* Working in a high-growth company
