Stores Person

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

Purpose of role

Work in a rolling stock production environment and tasked with keeping all points of use stocked with material when required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the status of all orders and deliveries are accurately maintained within the company SAP system
• Receipt, store and issue material associated with the rolling stock refresh
• Ensures data accuracy between systems and reality
• Contributes to the stock accuracy

Measurement

• Continuous material availability – No stage material stock out
• Inventory management – Real time SAP data
• Stock accuracy associated with material held within the contingency store.

Educational Requirements

• Knowledge of SAP essential
• A sound knowledge of stores / warehouse processes with regard to material transactions
• A good standard of education including Maths and English
• Logistics background
• Good written and oral skills.
• Good organisational and planning skills
