Stores Person

Salary: £150 – £168 per day

Contract type: self-employment/ possibility to permanent, full-time role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable Stores Person with experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have great communication, common sense, customer service skills and potential to develop and grow.

Main Objectives of the Stores Person role:

• Receiving and unpacking material deliveries
• The Storeman will extract and load materials for transport
• Cycle counting to ensure orders match materials obtained and materials are in good condition
• Transporting materials using pallet trucks handling equipment 
• Disposing of waste materials safely, in line with HSE regulations
• Will support our Store Person with the stock control and monthly inventories
• Work collaboratively as part of the site team to deliver the required services in line with the contract requirements following company policy and procedures.

• Good communication and writing skills
• Timekeeping and reliability
• Prioritisation skills and flexibility are required in order to meet commitments and deadlines
• Organised and excellent administration skills

Desired qualifications (however, we can support you to get these, if required):

• CSCS card
• Asbestos Awareness Training
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Full, clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle that can be driven for work purposes
