Job Profile
As the successful Materials Controller you will be working alongside a team planning and organizing the manufacturing assembly area. You will be responsible for accurate stock records and ensure the flow of materials through the business from goods in to final product dispatch.
Duties
* Receiving goods from delivery drivers and signing upon receipt.
* Entering data onto the stock control system
* Locate goods into correct locations and manage locations and stock levels
* Picking of material to job orders
* Use of fork lift and pallet trucks (training provided)
* Correct handling and packaging of sensitive materials
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Picking / packing of customer orders
* Communicating the progress of items to be dispatched
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a similar manufacturing assembly stores / despatch environment is essential
* Experience of using an ERP system essential
* Physical fitness is necessary as manual handling is required on a daily basis;
* Forklift driving licence required
* Good communication skills
Hours & Benefits
* 40 hrs per week
* 08.00 – 16.30 Monday – Friday
