Job title: Materials Handler/Stores Person
Job location: Ilford, Essex
Hourly pay rate: £21.6Ltd per hour
Shifts: 06.00am until 14.00pm then 11.00am until 19.00pm rotating weekly
Hours per week: 40hours (Monday – Friday)
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Industries considered: Rolling Stock, Warehouse, Automotive, and Aerospace
Disciplines considered: Materials Controller, Stores, and Materials Scheduler

Client Summary:

Our Client Bombardier Transportation Ltd in Ilford, Essex is currently looking for a Materials Handler/Stores Person with a preferable 5 years previous experience including customer facing to operate in a busy engineering environment.

Position Summary:

The tasks will include –

*Material control
*SAP knowledge
*Dealing with planned and unplanned material availability
*Adhoc ordering for unplanned materials due to damage and vandalism
*Set up regular stock counts
*Checking current stock levels
*Dealing with internal, external customers and clients
*Counterbalance license (Counter Balance)

Person Profile/Experience:

*Must be self-motivated
*Driven
*Very Good Communicator

Background:

*Good engineering background and understanding of parts
*Very good stores background
*Very good telephone manner
*Well presented
