Stock and Stores Administrator

Our client are a fast growing and forward thinking distribution company in Basingstoke who are now looking for someone to join their store.

The main responsibilities of the role will be to receive sales orders through to the stores, picking and packing of orders and updating all systems with order details.

You will have excellent attention to detail, be well organised, methodical and enjoy working as part of a team.

Main aspects of the role will include:
Receive sales orders from the office and check them on the system
Picking and packing of all orders – checking the correct order numbers
Lifting and moving of goods around the store
Processing order on the system and updating with notes
Ordering in any parts that are not available or in stock
Take customer calls if needed
Assist with any deliveries coming in and out of the store

Experience Required
You must have excellent attention to detail
Team player
Ideally you will have some stores experience but they will train the right person
Strong communication skills
Happy to get involved in all areas of the business
Ability to pick up new IT systems and technologies
