The role of the Specification Sales Manager Interior A&D products will involve:
80% of your time selling floor coverings / carpet into Architects and Interior Designers, predominantly getting specified by the interior designer and then working with the architects
Remaining 20% of your time working with interior fit-out contractors
Inheriting a database of circa 250 architects and interior designers, of which approx. 50 will be key customers
Initial revenue target of £1m
You will inherit a small project bank, and spend approximately 25% account managing existing projects and 75% of your time developing new business projects
Commercial office projects can range from 100m2 to 100,000m2
Fantastic research system and telemarketing support
Spending One or Two nights a week networking / socialising and making best use of companys central London studio
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Interior A&D products with:
Must have a proven track record of selling interior products such as flooring, carpet, wall coverings, fabric, lighting, ceilings or Furniture
Must have a proven track record of selling into the London A&D practises
Tactile sales background rather that technical, sold something aesthetically pleasing
Prepared to spend One or Two nights a week in London socialising / networking with Architects and Interior Designers
Energy, passion and Enthusiasm
Strong commercial and presentation skills
