Sales Customer Account Manager

Salary: £36,000 per year

Role: Sales – Customer Account Manager
This role is part of our core commercial team involved with managing our customers requirements for ‘Built to Order’ electronic products, including PCB assemblies and PCB design.
You will be communicating with customers, interfacing at engineering, and purchasing levels to manage ongoing and new sales for a wide variety of custom built electronic products.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing activities with specific customers
* Proactive engagement by telephone and email
* Scheduling and taking part in project meetings
* Enacting RFQ’s/Creating quotations within our ERP system
* Job costing using MS Excel
* Negotiating on winning new projects/orders
* Providing customers with progress updates
* Proactive customer follow up and engagement
* Admin tasks relating to orders, quotes, estimates and bids
* Supporting customers with information
* Promoting company services and identifying new opportunities
Requirements/Experience:
3+ years within a commercial environment and/or manufacturing company. Experience in working with customers, and fully conversant with administrative tasks.
* Positive attitude and logical thinker
* Commercial awareness
* Comfortable with MS Excel
* Good communication skills
* Experience with a MRP or/and CRM system
* Under 45 minutes travel time from GU12 4XB
