Specialist Sales Manager – Foot and Ankle

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Specialist Sales Manager – Foot and Ankle to join a leading medical device company based in the South East. As the Specialist Sales Manager – Foot and Ankle you will be responsible for maximising the sales and profit of the companies Foot and Ankle products

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Specialist Sales Manager – Foot and Ankle will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Maintain relationships with existing customers, and develop relationships with new customers to exploit future Sales opportunities

2. Develop and execute a Sales business plan to maximise client and product potential. Implement a strategic plan to achieve fast market growth and market leadership.

3. Work with surgeons and key opinion leaders (KOL) to deliver customer and business information

4. Become a product expert, and use this knowledge to influence competitor surgeons and promote the company Foot and Ankle products. Spend time in the theatre training and assisting staff

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Specialist Sales Manager – Foot and Ankle we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Proven Medical Device Sales experience is essential, ideally working in Orthopaedic or Trauma therapy areas

2. A working knowledge and practical experience with Foot and Ankle implants, or other relevant Orthopaedic implants

3. A strong self-starter with communication and presentation skills to generate new business
