Our Client is a business without peer, a company that leads the way in their sector. As part of a dynamic international growth strategy, they are looking to significantly develop their business in the UK. Their impressive client list includes leading names in retail, manufacturing & pharmaceuticals, and they aim to develop this further.

To assist their growth plans they are looking to recruit a Solution Design Consultant to add to their team. The successful candidate will have fantastic attention to detail, strong communication skills & the ability to manage high expectations to deliver a strategic agenda.

Supported by industry leaders based both in the UK & internationally we are looking for a candidate who has a strong track record of success, but more importantly somebody who has an outstanding career ahead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Storing, gathering, and analysing data by means of MS Excel and MS Access.
• Data modelling using proprietary tools and package tools for financial and operational modelling.
• Supporting delivery of solutions including business process redesign, distribution centre design, organizational design, etc.
• Operational & commercial research
• Designing and leading focus groups.
• Writing and delivering high quality documentation and analysis.
• Developing specific technical expertise, e.g., Network Modelling, DC Design, Operations Implementation, etc.
• Developing and supporting internal business systems and processes.
• Writing and contributing to white papers.

The Person:

• Degree educated, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of cumulative experience in consulting and/or internal consulting
• Experience in industrial engineering within complex supply chains
• Experience in DC design, specifically layout and operations
• Experience in business case development
• Ability to employ persuasion skills with discretion and consideration
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem solving and management capabilities
• Ability to work effectively on a team and support high levels of performance
• Ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques
• High level comprehension of financial analysis
• Ability to utilize good facilitation skills
• Ability to develop research and knowledge management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Desire to continually add value to and ensure accuracy and quality in all work performed
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally
