Home based – Can reside anywhere in the UK
Our client is a leading scientific company who’s been manufacturing innovative scientific instruments and solutions for past 30 years. They have offices in the USA, Europe & Asia. In the UK their HQ is in the Elstree / Watford area.
Their products, instruments and software are designed to optimize the efficiency, safety and productivity of key processes in chemistry and biology applications. Their clients are companies and institutions within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical sectors.
They are seeking an Account Manager to help continue the growth of their innovative bioprocess portfolio of clients across the UK and Europe. To manage and nurture an existing portfolio of clients as well as following up new client leads.
You’ll be involved every aspect of the sales life cycle through consultative sales, marketing techniques and actively converting leads to prospects.
This role can be home based as you’ll be selling to companies across the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.
Key experience required:
* Degree Level Education or equivalent level of experience and knowledge in Scientific, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or any related Bioprocess equipment used in R&D Laboratories.
* Minimum of 2 + years of commercial sales experience.
* Clean Driving Licence
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Highly Driven with a strong motivation to succeed
* An approachable manner that encourages interaction with others
Base Salary £54,000 – £72,000depending on experience plus commission, company car, company mobile phone.
The Company also operates a pension scheme. In the first year of service the Company contributes 3% of salary, with a 5% employee contribution.After 12 months the company contribution increases to 10%. Annual holiday entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays, and they will also be provided with Death-In-Service insurance, which equates to 4 times annual salary.
