Soldering Technicians for SMT & PTH components, for PCB level assembly.

Due to growth in our manufacturing operation, we require additional PCB assembly staff. The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:

– PTH and SMT soldering to IPC Class 2 & 3.
– SMT rework experience, down to 0402 / QPF level.
– Working to manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams and written instructions.
– An in-depth knowledge of component types, component markings, packages/orientations.
– Task types are varied in both batch size and complexity and although speed and efficiently are important, care and attention to detail are essential.

Additional skills would be of advantage:

– Experience of working in a high-tech, fast-paced, rework or inspection dept.
– Intermediate to advanced PC operation skills (Windows, Internet, Excel)
– Wiring, rrimping, box-build with self-Inspection.

Please note, should you attend an interview, you will be required to undertake a soldering and basic inspection test.
