Software Test Engineer

Our client is a global organisation is seeking a Software Test Engineer, you will be involved in hardware and software test development from the ground up.

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for preparing and carrying out testing plans from product specifications, including requirements, activities, resources, documentation, product details, release platforms, test platforms, test overviews and schedules in accordance with departmental procedures and standards. You will be performing test cases for both hardware and software components of the product from testing plans/protocols to the level of detail required to ensure the accurate planning and implementation. You will be responsible for making recommendations on whether products are acceptable.

• Experienced and committed to testing or quality assurance
• Experience in QA procedures and methods.
• Demonstrable experience in the writing of test plans and test cases
• Demonstrable knowledge of testing techniques:
• Automated and manual testing, Unit testing, Integration testing
• Functional testing, System testing, End-to-End testing
• Regression testing, Acceptance testing
• Automated testing, Load and Stress testing
• Performance testing, Usability testing, Compatibility testing
• Install/uninstall testing, Recovery testing
• Security testing, Comparison testing
• Alpha/Beta testing
