Salary: £42,000 – £51,600p/a

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Cooper Lomaz to work with our fantastic, exclusive client based in Cambridge – a market leader in their industry. You will be working amongst a highly skilled team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

My client is looking for an experienced Software Tester / Test Engineer / Test Analyst to work within the team. You will primarily be responsible for the testing of the systems and will be accountable for the following duties:

– To design test cases following development testing standards and guidelines
– Agreeing testing approach, including the mix of manual and automated testing
– Working closely with the rest of the QA team and the Development team to construct test scenarios based on architecture and design
– Maintain and extend continuous system integration/regression test coverage with each new story
– To ensure correct development procedures are followed.
– To perform related duties as assigned.

Key skills/experience required for this position are as follows:

– Strong, commercial experience of working in a similar Software QA/Testing position
– Excellent knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle
– Experience of automation testing using Java and Selenium
– Experience of working within an Agile environment
– ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Level
