Site Manager

Salary: £240 per day

On behalf of one of our clients we are looking to recruit an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee maintenance works on 10 social housing properties across Manchester.

The Site Manager will be working on various social housing refurbishments across the Greater Manchester area, both internal and external. Current schemes include anything from full strip out to new kitchen or bathroom replacements, window & door replacements, decoration or carpets.

Live sites currently are Wigan, Bolton, Rochdale, and Oldham depending on where you live i.e Rochdale you could cover sites in Leeds.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, your duties will be:

Management of diary

Taking before and after photos

Managing the one site assistants with any technical queries

Requisition of materials

Managing subcontractors

Issuing sub-contractor short term programmes

Holding regular progress meetings

updating the construction programme Managing trades/labour on site

Checking the quality of all plant on site

Managing H&S on site ensuring on site assistants are supported

Support site with any technical queries

Attending monthly cost meetings

Client liaison

Site visits Monday to Thursday, Friday will be working in the office completing reports for management on progress of works, stages, and completion

Hours 40/45 hours per week

Rate £240 per day or £25ph to £230 per day £28ph, Mileage 45p per mile

The successful candidate must have:

Worked within a roaming role previously either within social housing or maintenance

SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
